| Global, November 5, 2008: ECRON ACUNOVA, the full service CRO with over 2 decades of track record, today announced the appointment of Dr. Antal K Hajos as Executive Vice President – Strategic Operations for the European region. In this role, Dr Hajos will focus on leveraging the opportunities of the company's European as well as Indian capabilities to optimize service level and operational benefits for its clients. He will be based at ECRON ACUNOVA's European headquarter in Frankfurt, Germany. |

| With over 15 years' experience, Dr Hajos brings with him substantial experience in Clinical Research and Drug Development from a number of positions in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining ECRON ACUNOVA, he was the Managing Director and Chair of the Board with Nycomed Pharma's Indian R&D center based at Mumbai, and was previously responsible for Altana Pharma's global clinical operations. |

| As a member of the European Medical Writer's Association, ICRS, and founding member of the All India Medical Writer's Association, Dr Hajos has over 10 publications in many international journals and has done numerous abstracts. Dr Hajos has earned his Ph D in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University, USA, where he was awarded the Robert Scott Alan Outstanding dissertation award. He has also completed the Asian Executive Management Program from INSEAD, Singapore |
