As a founder, he has mapped the vision and strategy for the organization. He has experience in leveraging Asian competitiveness building successful global business in medical technology for GE and software for Wipro. As Exec Chairman of the Manipal Group, his focus was on developing a research thrust for the Group. Considered a thought leader in Health care and Life Sciences, he has worked in global leadership positions in GE and was Vice Chairman of Wipro. He serves on the board of various Pharma companies and Research institutes.
Prasanna is acknowledged in the healthcare sector as the pioneer in creating a market for high tech. medical equipment and delivering clinical excellence at low patient fees in Asian Hospitals, through innovative strategies. As the startup CEO of GE Medical in India, he also developed a $330 m Global Business in healthcare for GE Medical Systems (GEMS) by leveraging India's competitiveness taking the company from no 5 to No 1. He has also been a founding member of Wipro's team that initiated the company's entry into IT and was Vice Chairman of Wipro Ltd.
He is the Chairman of Association of Contract Research Organisations India (ACRO India). He is an independent Director of Take Solutions Ltd. He serves on the Governing Council of Center for Policy Research, India's leading Think Tank and of T A Pai Management Institute, a reputed Business School. He is a Trustee on Shriram Ownership Trust, which shapes the strategy of Shriram group of companies. He has served as Chairman of GEBEL, GEMS IT Ltd and GE X-Ray(South Asia) and Director of GE Yokogawa Medical Systems Ltd, Japan and GE Samsung Ltd, Korea, Wipro GE Medical Systems Ltd, India and Shasun Chemical & Drugs Ltd India. He brings rich experience in pharma and healthcare.

As founder and CEO of Ecron in Europe, Dr Wiedey successfully led the company for more than 2 decades. He focuses on leveraging the company’s growth, its potential and globalization, while cultivating its quality, values and reputation.
Dr Wiedey has 35 years experience in the pharmaceutical and CRO industry. Prior to founding Ecron in 1986, Dr Wiedey was Head of International Clinical Research of the Section Overseas at Boehringer Mannheim, Medical Director and Vice President at Basotherm, and Executive Medical Director for the German Operative Unit of Byk-Gulden (later Altana/Nycomed).
Dr Wiedey is member of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics, the European Forum for GCP and the International Society for the Economic Evaluation of Medicines. Dr Wiedey is a speaker at various international forums on clinical research.
Dr Wiedey is alumnus of Albert Ludwig University, Freiburg from where he graduated as MD. His specializations include clinical pharmacology and medical informatics and he holds a GDPharMed Diploma in Pharmaceutical Medicine. |

Lalit Mahapatra as Chief Financial Officer is responsible for controllership, financial management and financial integration of business across services and geographies. Reporting to the Chairman of the Board, he manages shareholders expectations and oversees corporate governance and leads the M&A activities of the company.
Prior to joining EA, Lalit worked with Schneider Electric Company as Head of Finance of the Global Technology Centre and the project contracting business. He was part of their global acquisition team and was instrumental in acquiring companies in India and Europe.
Lalit has over 15 years experience with companies like Siemens Information Processing Services Limited, Pacific Internet and Price Water House Cooper. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, fund management & harmonizing accounting practices to US GAAP, global IFRS standard and Indian GAAP. He is also a SAP champion in Finance module.
Lalit is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Certified Public Accountant from USA. |

Mr Schuette brings a vast experience of over 20 years in the pharmaceutical and CRO industry. Before joining EA, Mr Schuette was the Chief Operating and Chief Business Officer of the Ergomed Group as well as their Managing Director in Germany & UK.
Prior to that he was a Board Member and Managing Director Germany of the British site management organisation Intercern. For a decade, he served as Director of Clinical Operations and other positions at ASTA Medica AG in Frankfurt, Germany.
Mr Schuette is a member of several medical and scientific societies, studied Biology/Biochemistry in Constance (Germany) and Gainesville (Florida, US) and received a Master in Science in 1988 by the Faculty of Biology of the University of Constance (Germany). |

Mr. Malm joins Ecron Acunova from a position as CEO at Clinical Data Care (Sweden) and most recently from Pharmatech Oncology (USA), which has become a specialized SMO/CRO under his leadership. He brings more than 10 years of experience in management of CRO-businesses and he has contributed innovative developments in these companies.
During most of his career Mr. Malm has been working in international environments and has been managing companies in a number of different countries. This international experience is seen as an asset within the Ecron Acunova group when it comes to integrating functions between group companies with each other as well as an asset from the business aspect.
Prior to the CRO arena, Mr. Malm was active in other Life Science related business activities. He holds a Master of Science degree from USA and a MBA from Sweden. |

Dr. Kher as Chief Executive Officer is accountable for managing and accelerating the growth of Asia business.
Surinder Kher is a Physician by training and practiced medicine for six years before joining Pharma. He graduated from Medical College, Srinagar, India. Prior to joining us, Surinder was Senior Vice President – Clinical & Regulatory Development in Vanthys, a Jubilant – Eli Lilly joint venture. Surinder spent his initial eight years at Eli Lilly, where he was part of clinical research team that initiated GCP studies in India. His experience in clinical research extends from clinical study management, pharmaco-vigilance, quality-assurance, regulatory affairs to overall strategic business planning covering various therapeutic areas including diabetes, oncology, neuro-sciences and infectious diseases.
Later, Surinder served as COO at Diagno Search Life Sciences (iGATE) for two years where besides responsible for business operations he raised growth funds that lead to acquisition of Diagno Search by iGATE. As CEO Clinsys Clinical Research (A Jubilant CRO), Surinder established the business including a 68 bed phase-I facility and achieved organic annual growth of more than 100% for three years. He was responsible for the acquisition of a CRO which became Clinsys US. He served on Clinsys Board of Directors as an Executive Director.
Professionally Surinder is associated with various clinical research bodies as Advisor and invited speaker at key international meetings. He chairs National Clinical Trials Taskforce of Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FICCI) and on committees constituted by the Ministry of Health on regulatory reforms initiatives in India. |
